Costa Teguise

You leave from the coastal place Costa Teguise, located in the northwest of the island, and you can go to Tahiche, from where you can follow the village of Teseguite and visit the hermitage of San Leandro, from the 17th century.

You follow La Vega de San José and arrive at a viewpoint, so you can enjoy the spectacular views of Famara. From here you continue to Teguise, where you pass through the old town.

From here you can reach the agro-industrial complex of Teguise and witness the work and infrastructure of the area. This is the final part of the route, as you will have to go to Nazareth, Tahiche and return to Costa Teguise.

Circular route to the Monumento del Campesino with bike rental

The route starts at the Monumento del Campesino and continues to Florida, which is a small village of dispersed houses. It crosses a volcanic area and you will reach the surroundings of Tinguatón, where you will follow the route to Teneza, a small coastal town where you can enjoy a perfect beach for surfing.

This beach is 90 meters long and 6 meters wide, but the waves are powerful and strong, with powerful winds. From here you go up to Tinajo and continue to Mancha Blanca to see the hermitage of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores (or de los Volcanes), the patron saint of Lanzarote.

You cross La Vegueta to arrive at Mozaga, and finish the route when you reach the Monumento del Campesino again.

Playa Blanca, a route for your holidays on Lanzarote

The departure is from Playa Blanca and you will cross Los Ajaches, the volcanic formation located in the south of the island. Los Ajaches goes from Punta del Papagayo (southern tip of Lanzarote) to the vicinity of Playa Quemada (in the central eastern area).

You can observe the volcanic geological formations and walk through the wide valleys to Las Casitas de Femés, an agricultural village. Then you go down to Yaiza, an agro-touristic municipality and arrive at Las Breñas, a beautiful mountain village, at 150 meters above sea level, from where you will return to Playa Blanca.
